Fisher More College awards a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in Liberal Arts for students who successfully earn 120 hours of credit. The B.A. degree plan consists of a 96-hour Core Curriculum in the Liberal Arts, the Humanities, and the Scholastic Tradition. Students may then choose to complete the B.A. degree either by taking general electives across the academic disciplines or by choosing a concentration in one or more of the academic disciplines: Theology, Philosophy, Literature, History, and Classical Studies.

Note: Students not ready for Latin Grammar may be required to take Beginning (Latin I) and Intermediate Grammar (Latin II) courses.  Also, students who have mastered Latin Grammar prior to entering Fisher More will proceed directly to Latin Text.

Additional requirements outside the Core Curriculum for a general B.A. or for a concentration in the academic disciplines are as follows:

  • General B.A. in Liberal Arts – 8 courses, 24 hours (approved by Dean)
  • Theology concentration – 5 courses, 15 hours
  • Philosophy concentration – 5 courses, 15 hours
  • Literature concentration – 5 courses, 15 hours
  • History concentration – 6 courses, 18 hours
  • Classical Studies concentration – 6 courses, 18 hours

Note: The College will soon seek accreditation approval to award a B.A. degree which includes the Core Curriculum and a program of courses teaching the fundamental principles of Commerce and Business Management.
