Beginning in the fall of 2012, Fisher More College will offer online the complete freshman year of its core curriculum (10 courses for a total of 30 credits). All of these online courses will satisfy requirements of both the Associates of Arts (A.A.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degrees awarded by the College. The A.A. in Liberal Arts is the equivalent of a general studies degree, providing a broad background that prepares the student to complete a B.A. at Fisher More College or to pursue a B.A. at other accredited institutions.
The College plans on adding the entire sophomore year of its core curriculum to the Fisher More Online program by the fall of 2013, pending approval from the appropriate accreditating bodies.
Each course in the Fisher More Online program meets twice a week for 75 minutes with students and teachers interacting by means of the most technologically advanced live conference software available.
